Emergency Exercises
Even the bests laid plans will fail if key personnel have never put them into action before. Exercises are a key component of emergency preparedness and should be carried out regularly to ensure your organisation can react appropriately when required.
Emergency exercises allow you to validate your plans, test your procedures and improve and practice staff competencies.
Following government guidance, we offer 3 levels of emergency exercises:
- Discussions
- Table-top exercises
- Live simulation exercises
What we do
It is important that exercises fit your organisation’s current level of emergency preparedness. With many years of experience in disaster management and civil contingency planning and operations, our consultants will work with you to develop an exercise plan tailored to your requirements.
Specifically, we will:
- Identify your exercise objectives,
- Develop a plan how to best meet these objectives,
- Conduct the planned and agreed exercises,
- Conduct a debriefing,
- Record our observations and recommendations in a detailed report, and
- Present the results to you.
